Cami's Bake Club

Welcome to the Bake Club! I'm so glad you're here!

I started this for myself. I'm a busy wife, mom, and grad student. I absolutely love to bake and cook, and I've been trying to experiment and branch out more lately - including gluten-free baking for my husband! Due to some weird neurological issues, I've had to take a temporary break from school while I get testing done. Those same issues have made it hard to bake as much. When I was trying to figure out a hobby to look forward to during what would normally be my study time, I realized all of my hobbies use my hands which arent always functioning right now. So somewhere in a conversation with my husband, we came up with the idea to choose a new recipe a month and bake when my body is cooperating. 

When I asked around to see if others would be interested in joining me, one of the comments was 

"As long as the first rule of Bake Club is that we don't talk about carbs in Bake Club. Or Calories"

to which another replied

"If it's made with love, it doesn't count!"

I think that's all that needs to be said on that! haha. There's the main rule (:


So here is how this works:

I have a jar full of recipes.

Each month I will be pulling a new recipe out of the jar and posting it to Instagram (@Cambrias.Kitchen) and posting a .pdf of the recipe here on this blog.

We will then have the whole month to try the recipe, tweak it, and perfect it!

Share your results in the comments of either platform's post, or in your own Instagram post (just remember to tag @cambrias.kitchen or use #CamisBakeClub!)

For now, the monthly recipes will be focused on baking.

Keep in mind that I am not a hip, savvy social media type mom, nor am I a professional blogger haha. I'm learning as I go! But I do know how to bake and cook, with minimal disasters.
